U14 Boys v Italian side - Petrarca Padova 🇮🇹
With no fixture this week, the lads had a great opportunity to play a touring Italian side, Petrarca Padova, up in Navan.
It was a really tough, physical game. Petrarca were very strong—great in attack and excellent defensively—but fair play to our boys, they never took a backward step all day. As the game went on and the physicality increased, the lads stepped up brilliantly.
The forwards worked hard on a heavy pitch to create a strong platform, and the backs took their chances well with some really good tries.
A brilliant experience for the group and plenty of learnings to take from it.
A huge thank you as well to Petrarca Padova for their excellent sportsmanship—a really great group of players and coaches—and we’re already looking forward to the return leg in Italy next year💪
