On this fine afternoon our U14 girls welcomed AB in the Leinster Plate QF to Gorey.

No.10 Darcie Bailey took the kick off with AB (Ashbourne/Balbriggan) taking the ball, Gorey won the ball back and opened the scoring with a try from No. 15 Medbh Dowling and Darcie converting.

With both teams digging deep and playing brilliant rugby Gorey no. 6 Ciara Nagle going over for their second try and Darcie converting.

Some great scrumming by both teams, contesting and both teams stealing from each other.

Due to small injury, scrums went to uncontested. HT Gorey maintained the lead at 14 0.

Gorey received from KO, amazing play, using their training calls to go over for their 3rd try from No. 3 Holly Browne and Darcie converting.

AB never stopped fighting but Gorey were just too strong with our No. 2 Jessica Blackwell going over for their 4th try.

Gorey left everything they had on the pitch and came away with the win 26 0 at full time. An amazing effort by every player today 👏 💙🤍💚
