Gorey RFC is set for a fantastic weekend of rugby as players, coaches, families, and supporters come together for a packed schedule of matches and activities across the club.
The action kicks off on Saturday, 7 March, with our U13 Boys taking on Cill Dara RFC at 11.00, setting the tone for what promises to be a brilliant day at the club.
At 12.30, two exciting fixtures take centre stage. Our U18.5 Boys face Dundalk in a crucial Semi Final, a huge moment for the squad as they battle for a place in the final. At the same time, our U14 Girls welcome Tullamore, continuing the great momentum and growth of girls’ rugby at Gorey.
The afternoon continues with the U16 Boys hosting Wexford at 14.30, another important match showcasing the strength and depth of our youth section.
To round off the day, our Minis training moves from Sunday to Saturday this week, running from 16.00–18.00, as the club supports the Great Gorey Run taking place on Sunday. It’s another great opportunity for our youngest players to get on the pitch and enjoy the game.
Rugby continues on Sunday, 8 March, when our U14 Boys face Dundalk at 12.30, before the club hosts a Girls Blitz from 14.00–17.30, bringing together teams and players in a celebration of girls’ rugby.
Weekends like this are what make Gorey RFC special — players of all ages taking to the field, friendships forming, and the whole community coming together to support the club.
We encourage everyone to come down, enjoy the rugby, and get behind our teams for what promises to be a brilliant weekend at Gorey RFC.
