Today is one of those special days that reminds us what Gorey RFC is all about. Across the South East, our young players pull on the Blue, White and Green to contest finals and a major semi-final, each one carrying the pride of their teammates, coaches, families, and the wider club with them.

Months of training, early mornings, wet evenings, hard lessons, and great victories have all led to this moment. These matches are a reward for commitment, teamwork, and belief and a chance to enjoy the rugby at its very best.

Each squad has earned their place through hard work, resilience, and a strong sense of togetherness. Finals days are about moments—big tackles, brave carries, unselfish passes, and teammates backing each other when it matters most. Play with freedom, trust what you’ve learned, and enjoy every second of the experience.

As President of Gorey RFC, Mick Stokes captured the feeling across the club perfectly:

"Everyone at Gorey RFC wishes all our Squads the very best of luck today in their Finals and Semi Finals. They have put a lot of hard work in and it is now time for time for them to reap their rewards. Well done to their Coaches, Managers, Parents and Families for all their support to get them to this day. Come on Gorey!"

To our players: wear the jersey with pride and play for one another.  Make memories that will stay with you long after the final whistle.
To our coaches, managers, parents, and families: thank you for the time, encouragement, and belief that helped make today possible.
To our supporters: be loud, be positive, and be proud.

Whatever the results, you have already done Gorey RFC proud. Now go out, give it everything, and enjoy a memorable day for the club.

 💙🤍💚 Come on Gorey!  💙🤍💚
