Gorey’s U18.5 girls ran into a powerful Arklow side on Saturday morning in a full-blooded, physical contest. Arklow started fast, racking up early scores, but Gorey refused to fold—tightening their tackle line and working hard at the breakdown to slow momentum.
After the interval, Gorey’s persistence paid off with an early second-half try and conversion, then—straight from the restart—another excellent team score built on brave carries, quick ruck ball, and sharp handling.
