All of us here at Gorey RFC are gutted to hear of the sudden passing of Aidan “Fridge” Kelly.
A former player, Fridge has been a constant part of the Club ever since…most recently as touch judge for our senior men’s games.
Fridge was also mister music in the club and was never shy of a chance to DJ at any club event he could, especially if 80s music was in the mix!
Fridge also refereed Tag Rugby for many years as well as so much more.
To his dad Michael and family Ivan, Natasha and Gareth, we extend our deepest sympathy at your profound loss. Aidan will be remembered as a true Clubman and a true Gentleman and his loss will be felt in the Club for a long time to come.
Rest in Peace Fridge, it was an honour to know you.
