Sunday the 13th Gorey U13's faced Newbridge once more this time in the Cup semi-final.
It was always going to be a tough game and today was just not our day.
The boys tried hard as always but things just didn't seem to click today and even the ball seemed to be against us, rolling or bouncing away from us all day.
To Newbridge's credit they came out hard and seem to have worked on a few things since our last meeting.
Gorey lost Sam to injury early on and Eoin midway through the second half to a nasty shoulder knock, wishing him a speedy recovery.

Final score 29-3.
Hard to stand out on a losing team, but Jack Robins again produced a number of huge tackles with Andrew, Zach and Conn going close to scoring.
Our 1st competitive loss of the year is hard to take but that's sport and we may pick ourselves up ready for next week's Southeast final against Tullow.
The coaching team are super proud of our squad and their great season so far.
