Gorey travelled to New Ross this damp foggy Saturday morning with a strong squad of 20.
A great start in wet, mucky conditions saw the girls run in a brace of Tries from Shona Coyne either side of a well worked Try by Usha Daly O’Toole from the center with 2 conversions from Alex Byrne.
In the second half we kept the pressure on Ross and both Wan sisters ran in Tries with a further conversion from Alex Byrne.
Gorey took the game to Ross in a well organised attack and a resolute defence only conceding 1 converted Try from Ross. Our lineout was solid with Johanna Considine confident in the catch from
great throwing from Mary Canavan which allowed us to maul effectively. Great performances from all 20 players.
