On Sunday, October 13th, Gorey U13s traveled to Waterpark for a friendly match. 

The team saw several personnel and positional changes this week, which initially led to a somewhat disjointed start. Gorey found themselves trailing two tries to one after the first 20 minutes.

However, some inspirational words from the coaching staff during the break sparked a significant improvement. 

The boys played with renewed vigor in the second 20 minutes, turning the scores in their favor by halftime. 

The final 20 minutes continued in the same vein, with Gorey maintaining their strong performance. The match concluded with a full-time score of Gorey 33 - Waterpark 17.

It was a great day off the tee for both Alex and Oisin, who successfully converted 4 out of 5 attempts, narrowly missing a long-range effort.
The tries of the day were well-deserved, with Finn, Hugh, Alex (2), and Adria all crossing the line.
